Managed to get up the hot air balloon. It was for about 20 minutes and it cost USD15! Expensive but oh well, it is once in lifetime thing, and I heard that it is only during certain season. It was exciting indeed.

One of my favourite weekend activities is to enjoy Vietnamese noodle and iced coffee at the Hawker Centre in Russian Market.
The Vietnamese noodle is like laksa noodle, only dried. The coffee is said to be from Vietnam too. After 1 glass, usually you will be given another small glass. Add milk as much as you want. Occasionally, 2nd small glass will be served. Not sure if that is only for regular customers. Haha… because my colleagues had none, only me! Anyway, they won’t enjoy as much as I, the coffee-lover, or coffee-addict as some of my friends/colleagues said.

One of the good things I enjoy here is the fruits. Surprisingly juicy!
I used not to like dragon fruits. I remember my granny bought one from market a few years back. There was a time when it was advertised widely over TV, newspaper etc. Out of curiosity, she wanted to try. The name is also very special, isn’t it? We tried and it was tasteless! So no more dragon fruits no matter what others say, even how beautiful it was shown on TV.
Then, my opinion changed when I came to Cambodia 7 months ago. Dragon fruit is so yummy! I wish I can bring some home for my granny to try. My colleagues also have the same thought! Hmm… Are they allowed to fly? ![]()
We asked our local staff to buy 2 kg dragon fruits on our behalf. Locals usually pay less. So, he came back with 2 with 1 kg each! We weighed and no joke! Is kind of cheap too. 1 kg = Riel 3000 = about US$0.75 = about RM2.60.
If you are here in Cambodia, must try!
